Course Costs – WorkReady Subsidised
JobTrainer
This qualification is funded under the Governments JobTrainer scheme. JobTrainer supports young people, school leavers and job seekers with access to low-fee short courses and qualifications that unlock opportunities for employment or
further training.
To be eligible for access to low-fee training through JobTrainer, you’ll need to be;
- Not currently employed, or
- Aged between 17 and 24 years and not enrolled in school, or
- Hold a Health Care, Pensioner or Veteran Affairs concession card
You will also need to meet the eligibility criteria for subsidised training.
WorkReady Subsidised training information
These courses are funded through the Government of South Australia’s WorkReady initiative. Under this government scheme, you may be eligible from 31st of July 2015 for subsidised training courses as ARO Educational Services is a “WorkReady” Training Provider. If you want to study a course that will give you skills employers need, you may be able to pay reduced course fees.
If your training is subsidised, the South Australian Government pays part of your course fees for you. The money goes straight to your training provider, so you can focus on your training. Undertaking subsidised training courses with ARO Educational Services may have an impact on your future entitlements for subsidised training.
PLEASE NOTE:
- All qualifications incur a non-refundable administration and resource fee of $550 (GST Inc.) which is required to be paid prior to commencement of training. In special circumstances a refund may be approved by ARO. Please refer to our Fee & Refund Policy at our website for details – aroeducation.sa.edu.au
- Tuition fees are costs incurred for items that the student cannot retain i.e. trainer, venue, printing etc costs
- Material fee are costs incurred for items that the student may retain i.e. USBs, text books etc
- The remaining balance of fees will be invoiced in equal GST free increments across the remainder of the course; this payment is required within 30 days of the invoice. Payments can be made via Ezidebit, cheque, electronic transfer, credit card over the phone, or EFTPOS in the office
- The administration and resource fee has GST included in the cost, the tuition and material fee is GST free
- Funding – conditions apply depending on the funder and limited places are available. The subsidy cannot be guaranteed.
- The administration fee is required to be paid prior to the commencement of training. The remaining fees which includes the tuition fee and material fee is then invoiced in monthly GST free increments across the agreed length of the training, this is payable within 30 days of the invoice. ARO Educational Services does not invoice more than $1,500 in prepaid fees at any time.
- Regional students must note – the amounts identified are training costs only. Additional costs to cover expenses for ARO Educational Services trainers may include travel, accommodation and other living away from home costs, these additional fees will be calculated individually depending on the students location and invoiced to the payer of the qualification.
Fees
ARO’s payment agreement reflects the total payable enrolment fees per student enrolled in a training program.
The first invoice is a non-refundable resource/administration fee of $550 (inc GST), this payment is required within 14 days of the invoice. The remaining balance will be invoiced in equal GST Free increments across the remainder of the course; this payment is required with 30 days of the invoice. ARO Educational Services does not charge more than $1,500 in prepaid fees at any time.
Payment can be made by cheque, electronic transfer, credit card over the phone, Ezidebit or EFTPOS in the office. Our payment terms are 30 days after the date of the invoice. We respectfully ask that payments be made on time so as not to interrupt the training schedule.

Note: a Qualification or Statement of Attainment cannot be issued until all payments have been received by ARO Educational Services.
