AHC31316 - Certificate III in Sports Turf Management

Sports Turf training is now available to all current employees of horticultural businesses wishing to get their sports turf qualification.

ARO Educational Services (ARO) is offering the AHC31316 Certificate III in Sports Turf Management at your place of work through our one-on-one monthly sessions. Students will also attend classroom sessions to complete units. AHC31316
Certificate III in Sports Turf Management requires the completion of 16 units of competency. Successful completion of the course leads to a sports turf tradesperson likely to be involved in working independently or as part of team in carrying out sports turf work.

The sports turf tradesperson would be expected to use some theoretical knowledge, discretion and judgement and a range of well-developed skills in order to carry out their work.

This qualification will help you develop the skills & knowledge to:

Prepare surfaces for use
Renovate grassed areas
Turf construction
Pest & weed control
Installation & maintenance of irrigation & drainage systems
Management of turf health
Planning sports turf surfaces
