This qualification is funded under the Governments JobTrainer scheme. JobTrainer supports young people, school leavers and job seekers with access to low-fee short courses and qualifications that unlock opportunities for employment or
further training.
To be eligible for access to low-fee training through JobTrainer, you’ll need to be;
- Not currently employed, or
- Aged between 17 and 24 years and not enrolled in school, or
- Hold a Health Care, Pensioner or Veteran Affairs concession card
You will also need to meet the eligibility criteria for subsidised training.

employed within the industry.
ARO Educational Services (ARO) is offering the dual certificate AHC30716 Certificate III in Horticulture and AHC30916
Certificate III in Landscape Construction at Woodhouse Activity Centre, Piccadilly. The AHC30716 Certificate III in Horticulture requires the completion of 16 units of competency and the AHC30916 Certificate III in Landscape Construction requires the completion of 15 units of competency. The AHC30716 Certificate III in Horticulture includes one additional unit of competency and has been carefully designed to include relevant knowledge and skills relating to industry needs.
Successful completion of the course leads to a landscape trades person likely to be involved in working independently or as part of team in carrying out landscape work. The landscape trades person would be expected to use some theoretical knowledge, discretion and judgement and a range of well-developed skills in order to carry out their work.
